- Welcome to my 4Runner blog. This restoration project will be updated periodically with photos and video. My truck is one of many Toyota vehicles that our family has owned. Powering a truck this size and weight with 4 cylinder, 22R tech is an engineering feat. Peak performance is the goal, without that it'll be sluggish.
